Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Myanmar Branch) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd. Established in Osaka, Japan in 1924. Daikin developed Japan’s first air conditioner in 1951. Over the years, it has developed products, systems and solution services focused on energy savings and cost efficiency to help advance the health and comfort of people and space. Today, Daikin has over 100 production bases worldwide and supplies customers in some 170 countries. Since 1st June 2014, Daikin Air-conditioning (S) Pte. Ltd. (Myanmar Branch) has started branch office in Hledan Center to conduct sales and service support to Myanmar dealers and consumers. In April 2016, Daikin Myanmar Branch has continued to reach greater heights by becoming one of the subsidiaries of Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., one of the leading manufacturers of HVAC products (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) and also a member of the Daikin group Japan.
